Poljud Pools

This very personal series of illustrations METASTATIKA by Goran Radošević shows the artist’s relationship with Split’s modern architecture. Through the author’s eyes, we see architecture as a vital energy that gives life to space and influences the identity of the author, society, and the city itself. Some landmarks depicted in the illustrations still fulfill their purpose, while others, unfortunately, are forced to simply survive or adapt to present trends.

The artwork Poljud Pools illustrates the coexistence of swimming and other unforeseen sports activities, such as skating, at this famous Split landmark.
