2017.

This very personal series of illustrations METASTATIKA by Goran Radošević shows the artist’s relationship with Split’s modern architecture. Through the author’s eyes, we see architecture as vital energy that gives life to space and influences the identity of the author, society, and the city itself. Some landmarks depicted in the illustrations still fulfill their purpose, while others, unfortunately, lost it and are forced to simply survive or adapt to present trends.

The illustration 2017. shows one of the skyscrapers during the big fire in Split in 2017. While the chaos of fire and smoke are distinctly visible in the background, they come as for two friends it comes as a perfect disguise to barbecue on the building’s roof.
